The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come
that they may have life, and have it to the full.
1 Kings 7:18
He made pomegranates in two rows encircling each network to decorate the capitals
on top of the pillars. He did the same for each capital.
If God is in your life, you have peace
if you have peace then you are wealthy
Big message: Blessings are chasing after me
Speaker: Bro Alvin Barcelona
Blessing is all over
May mga taong hindi matanggap ang blessings
Poverty is multidimensional
External structure for poverty
Internal structure – mindset
Move from poverty mindset to prosperity mindset
All of us are rich
True measure of richness
Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Right now, be happy of what you have
Look at yourself as rich and what will come is bonus
Be happy to where you are
Blessings are chasing after me
1. Think that you are already blessed
Psychology – how you think
I am rich, I am blessed
Love the poor but you don’t aim to be poor
Do you believe that God wants you to be poor?
How do you see money?
Money is neutral. It depends on how you use it.
Ang pera, sa kamay ng banal ng tao, banal yan
Purify our thoughts with our money
We need money
Money can be used for God’s work to build His kingdom
How do you see God? Do you see God as playing favorite?
I have received full payment and have more than enough.
I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus
the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice,
pleasing to God.
God will meet your needs
Hindi kuripot si Lord
Humingi ka sa capacity of the giver
We ask God. He owns everything
1. physical world
Basic premise is scarcity
Unlimited wants that is why there is always lack
We just don’t live in a physical world
There is enough for everyone
2. Spiritual world
Economic principle of God — it does not go empty
We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.
“Bring them here to me,” he said. And he directed the people to sit down
on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven,
he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples,
and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied,
and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
he number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.
1 Kings 17:7-16
Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land.
Then the word of the Lord came to him: “Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon
and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.”
So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering
sticks. He called to her and asked, “Would you bring me a little water in a jar
so I may have a drink?” As she was going to get it, he called, “And bring me,
please, a piece of bread.”
“As surely as the Lord your God lives,” she replied, “I don’t have any bread
—only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug.
I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son,
that we may eat it—and die.”
Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said.
But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me,
and then make something for yourself and your son. 14 For this is what the Lord,
the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil
will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’”
She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day
for Elijah and for the woman and her family. For the jar of flour was not used up
and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord
spoken by Elijah.
Our economy is limited resources
But to God there is unlimited resources
If we have God’s mindset, there will always be enough
