You are not made for lies, you are made for truth

There is a difference between accuracy and truth

We go in the Spirit of the Law
In general, 10 commandments are 10 doors
You open a door and go inside
These commandments are the biggies.
Yet avoiding them is simply the minimum.
Nobody gets fully blessed by simply avoiding
the NOT-TO-DO Things.
You may say “I did not do anything wrong”
or “I did not hurt or stepped on anybody.”
But the question is, “Did you do something good?”
“Did you helped somebody?” or “Did you love someone?”
Matthew 22:36-40
(Mark 12:30-31 / Luke 10:27)
“Teacher, which law is the greatest commandment in the law?”
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord you God with all your
heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
This is the first and greatest commandment. And
the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
On these two commandments depend all the law and
the prophets.”
Speaker: Bro JC Libiran
Commandment # 5: Do Not Kill
Is abortion murder?
Is suicide murder?
Letter of the Law: Don’t take life.
Spirit of the Law: Give life.
Hatred is murder.

‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgement.’
But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or a sister,
will be subject to judgement. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister,
‘Raca’, is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’
will be in danger of the fire of hell.”
Romans 12:19 “Do not take revenge, my dear friends,
but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written:
“It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
Romans 12:20-21 “If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap
burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil,
but overcome evil with good.
Love is the best revenge.
Commandment #6: Do not commit adultery
Matthew 5:27-28 “The law of Moses said ‘You shall not commit adultery.’
But I say: Anyone who even looks at a woman with lust in his eye
has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”
Sex is not only physical, it’s spiritual
Letter of the law: Be sexually faithful to your spouse
Spirit of the law: Be sexually, spiritually, emotionally,

He is the ultimate authority and ultimate provider
He is to whom I obey and trust
We struggle in obeying him because we struggle trusting him
Who do you trust?
Is money your god?
Is lust your god?
Are people you god? –> Do you constantly please other people?
Don’t think about what other people would tell you
Instead, celebrate who you are

but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name,
and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’
And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
3rd Commandment

“Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every
human authority: whether to the emperor,
as the supreme authority.”
God appointed authorities
If you love them, you love God
How can you love your mother and father?
1. Give Thanks
We normally focus on what our parents did not give
Sirach 7:27-28
“With all your heart honor your father,
and do not forget the birth pangs of your mother.
Remember that it was of your parents you were born”
How can you repay what they have given to you?
Your parents are imperfect
They did things that hurt you
But there are things that they did to you that helped you
2. Give Respect
Colossians 3:20
“Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.”
You will never regret obeying your parents
