Beloved-Bo’s Most Crucial Reflections at Half Time:Be Love – Talk 4
Speaker: Bro JC Libiran
Mark 1:15
“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near.
Repent and believe the good news!”
Allow God to do what he wants to do with you.
This is preliminary definition of the Kingdom of God.
God is King
Do you make God king in all areas of your life?
God wants to do something with you.
Will you allow God to do it?
Speaker: Bro Alvin Barcelona
What does God want to do?
What is God’s nature?
Who is God?
1 John 4:8
“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love”
God is love
That is his nature
That’s who he is
God never stops loving you
God wants to love you
Allow God to love through you.
Be Gods love to others
Let that be your nature
It’s easy to be religious
It’s easy to go to church
But it should not end there
You receive God’s love
but it should not stop there
Start doing things and put faith into actions
Matthew 5:23-24
“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar
and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,
leave your gift there in front of the altar.
First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.”
Sacrifice becomes more meaningful if you do this.
Matthew 25:35-36, 40
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat,
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,
I was a stranger and you invited me in,
I needed clothes and you clothed me,
I was sick and you looked after me,
I was in prison and you came to visit me.
The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you,
whatever you did for one of the least
of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
Those things should lead you to act and serve
Jesus is someone you imitate not just someone we worship
You only know as much as you do – St. Francis
Doing rather than understanding
Yes studying and learning about Jesus is important,
but what is more essential is to do what Jesus does.
Religiosity is action
Follow Jesus is love like Jesus
Allow God to love us and let that love flow to others
Mary’s call is our call
We go out and serve others
1. Why Church?
Because Church is where we receive God
But it must not stop inside the church
The purpose is to change the world
The church is not for insiders, it is for outsiders
That’s the mission of The Feast
The Feast is open to everybody
You don’t have to believe to belong
The church is a hospital
We want to be made whole because we are imperfect
Jesus will always save you even if you continue stinging Him
2. Why Family?
Family is the first church
Be like Jesus in the family
The purpose of family is to embrace a bigger family
Don’t be exclusively for your family
3. Why Work?
Bring Jesus to work
Become the best in your field
Beloved-Bo’s Most Crucial Reflections at Half Time:Be Humble – Talk 3
Speaker: Bro Bo Sanchez
Humility
People are not interested about humility
We don’t understand how powerful humility is
Humility is the birthplace of success
Success that is filled with peace
Matthew 23:12
“For those who exalt themselves will be humbled,
and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
We misunderstand what humility is.
Being quiet and timid is not humble
In the bible, humility is Servanthood
Humility is not timidity
Matthew 20:26
“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants
to become great among you must be your servant.”
BIG MESSAGE: Lose Small To Win Big
Humble = Servant
Humble Servant
Do you want to be successful in all areas of your life?
if you want success, you’ve got to be humble
7 Specific Expressions of Humility
1. Humble servant is always Serving
John 13:14-15
“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet,
you also should wash one another’s feet.
I have set you an example that you should do
as I have done for you.”
God is the greatest servant of all.
2. Always Extinguishes
You extinguish yourself.
You lose, so that others will win
3. Always a Reconciler
Matthew 5:9
“Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.”
Any part of reconciliation is costly.
Are you willing to pay?
The bigger person has to pay the price.
The bigger person has to be the first one to say sorry.
The bigger person has to be the first one to reach out.
4. Always Vulnerable
Apologize.
You are the bigger person who can bend down and say sorry.
Unless somebody pays for it, it won’t happen.
Unless someone asks for forgiveness, there will be no peace.
5. Always Appreciating
There is no such thing as self made person
We need to be thankful for the people who contributed to who you are right now.
Your feet stands on their shoulders
Thank the people who bless their lives
Great leaders are grateful
6. Always Nimble
Most flexible person
Listens and adjust
Learn to bend
7. Always Teachable
Many leaders are leaderless – you get stuck
You need to have a leader
Great leaders are great followers
Have mentors
Week for growth
Search for somebody who will bless your life
Speaker: Bro Audie Villaraza
Humility comes from humiliation
Humiliation is good so that we know that we are not perfect.
We realize that we need God
Humiliation produce humility
Thank God for that experience
He allowed us to experience this
God will pick you up

Speaker: Audee Villaraza
Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness,
and all these things will be added to you.
Get busy with God
God is brilliant
For God, subtraction is addition.
God needs to remove something in your life
for Him to give a better one
So, thank Him first
Speaker: Bo Sanchez
Matthew 13:44
Jesus said, God’s kingdom is like a treasure hidden in a field for years
and then accidentally found by a trespasser.
The finder is ecstatic — what a find! —
and proceeds to sell everything he owns to raise money
and buy that field.
Acts 17:8
When they heard this, the crowd and the city officials
were thrown into turmoil.
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;
I have come that they may have life,
and have it to the full
Everything is sacred
Everything is grace
This is one gift of the feast
God will invade your world
Why are there people who are religious but
still remain unchanged by God?
You confuse the treasure and the field
You are attached to the field
Focus on God and flourish everything else
Flourish every single part of your self
Some are focused on God but they forget everything else
This leads to fanaticism.
5 Symptoms of Fanatic
1. Lack of restoration
2. lack of relevance – no one is listening to them anymore
Here at the feast, We want to equip you and empower and encourage you
You should become the best in your field
3. Lack of responsiveness
There is a need to help others.
You can do this, through ministries
God calls us to engage the world and redeem it
4. Lack of respect
5. Lack of relationships
Put God first and flourish everything else
Speaker: George Gabriel
Is God insecure?
God is committed to you
He is a full time father
God wants fullness of life in you
Be spiritual in all aspects of your life

4 Be Love
1 John 4:19
We love because he first loved.
- Why do you do the things you do?
- God made the first move.
- God really really likes you.
- The first step of the Christian life is to be loved. To allow God to love you.
- Embrace you with God’s wounds
- The whole Christian life is a response to that love
- You cannot create love
- I’m Gods beloved
- God already love you even before you do anything
- God’s love is irrational
- God’s love is foolish
- To understand that we are the beloved of God, look at the creation of God
- Look at Christ that you may know His love for you
- Christianity is a love story
1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another.
But what do we see right now? People don’t love people
How can I love the unlovable?
How can I do it?
The first word “Beloved” is the secret to love. You’ve got to be first beloved.
You must first be loved. And then you can love
It all starts from being a beloved
2 Stories
1. A good criminal
A good thief
Luke 23:42 43
Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
He was a bandit
He was violent in his life
He was a thief
Old life and new life
God does not look at your garbage
God forgives you even to the end of your life.
2. Crazy prophet
Hosea 1,3
When the Lord began to speak through Hosea, the Lord said to him,
“Go, marry a promiscuous woman and have children with her,
for like an adulterous wife this land is guilty of unfaithfulness to the Lord.”
So he married Gomer daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.
The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again,
though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress.
Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods
and love the sacred raisin cakes.”
So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and about a homer
and a lethek of barley. Then I told her, “You are to live with me many days;
you must not be a prostitute or be intimate with any man,
and I will behave the same way toward you.”
The story of Hosea and Gomer reflected the story of God and His people.
Hosea married Gomer the prostitute. She was not faithful to Hosea,
to the point that she ran away from home. But Hosea was faithful to Gomer.
He went and looked for her and bought her back when he saw that Gomer
was already for sale as a slave. God’s faithfulness to his people,
to us, is beyond our understanding. Despite of our unfaithfulness,
He is faithful and searches for us. He even bought us for a price.
The price of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. That we may once
again be with Him.
Hosea (Song inspired by the Book of Hosea)
Come back to me with all your heart
Don’t let fear keep us apart
Trees do bend though straight and tall
So must we to others call
Long have I waited for
Your coming home to me
And living deeply our new life
The wilderness will lead you
To the place where I will speak
Integrity and justice
With tenderness
You shall know.
You are Gods beloved
