The Power of Small: Thrive! – Big Day
Speaker: Bro Bo Sanchez
- Have you disqualified yourself because you think you’re the smallest, weakest, and lowest?
God is telling you right now,
“You’re qualified.
You’re chosen.
You’re anointed.
You have a great future ahead of you.”
- Don’t Aim for Perfection Aim for Progress
- We strive to get an A in all areas of our lives
That we feel inadequate when we don’t get it.
No matter what we do, it’s not enough
- God’s message: Rest now, You’ve done all you can.
I’ll take over from here.”
- God is telling you today.
Relax.
You’ve done all you can.
I’ll take over from here.
- Sometimes we feel small and inadequate.
God’s biggest blessings come in small packages.
Even in the bible, there are instances that God
uses small things.
– Five pieces of bread in the hands of Jesus is already
a banquet that can feed thousands. (John 6:9)
– A staff in the hand of Moses can rescue
the people of Israel from Egyptian slavery. (Exodus 4:2)
– A small cloud in Elijah’s sight
is already a thunderstorm. (1 Kings 18:44)
– A jawbone in the hand of Samson
can kill a thousand enemies. (Judges 15:15)God likes using small. In God’s eyes, small is big.

Your anointing is enough for you win you battle.
1 Samuel 38-39
“Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a coat of armor on him and a bronze helmet on his head. David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried walking around, because he was not used to them.”
David was not afraid to say no to the offer of King Saul — it was not his anointing
He knew what was best for him. He was not swayed by other opinions
1 Samuel 17:40
“Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream,
put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand,
approached the Philistine.”
David was good at his sling
–> It will not work — if it is not your anointing
Discover your anointing
How do I discover my anointing?
1 Samuel 17:34-35
“But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep,
and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock,
I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth;
and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it.”
Fight your lions
David faced those lions and bears.
What are your lions in your life? So that later on you can gain big victories
Opportunity to grow — don’t waste your lion
God will make you victorious in your lions
